This privacy policy sets out how Bizzi Fintech Pvt Ltd and Knowledge Enhance Pvt Ltd (collectively referred as Bizzi) use and protects any information that you share when you use their platforms. Bizzi is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected at all times. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
Bizzi may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. This policy is effective from 08th Sept 2021

This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how the information they provide, is used online. If you are asked to provide information when using our website or mobile applications, it will only be used in the ways described in this privacy policy.

This Policy applies to our Website and mobile applications, and we are not responsible for the practices of persons, companies, institutions or websites that we do not control, manage, or employ. Except as set forth in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service Agreement (“Terms of Service”) and other published guidelines, we do not release personal information about our users without their permission. As used herein the term “Service” shall mean use, access, install, sign into, connect with, download, visit or browse our Services.

Your use of the application, or services in connection with this application, its features or products (‘Services’), or registrations with us through any mode or through usage of any Service including through SD cards, tablets or other storage/transmitting devices, shall signify your acceptance of this Policy and your agreement to be legally bound by the same. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, do not use the application or avail any of our Services.

What information do we collect from the people that visit our website or app?
We collect two types of information –

‘Personally Identifiable Information’ (PII) is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. PII can include information such as name and email address, among other things. We do not verify the information provided by users and you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the PII, you submit, as it may affect your ability to use our services.

When registering for our application, you will be asked to enter your name, email address, mobile number, topics of interest and / or other similar details that will help us contact you for important notifications regarding the use of the application, your performance, or to help improve user experience. In addition, specific personal information like the PAN Number or any other identity verification information will be recorded individually and/ or as a combination to authentically determine user identity for the issuance of appropriate certification upon successful completion of any course/s.

When you register at Bizzi and /or its linked applications we ask you to complete a SignUp form which includes certain PII. We use your email address & mobile number to identify you as a Bizzi platform user, to contact you about Bizzi Learning app, Bizzi portfolio analyzer, send you information about other products /services we think might be of interest to you. Bizzi shares your Name, Mobile number, e-mail address with third parties who are performing services on behalf of Bizzi. The demographic and personal profile information that we collect during the registration are used only in aggregate. Bizzi does not sell or rent your PII to anyone. Instead, we use it to create content and functionality that best serves the needs and interests of our user/s and to improve the quality of the service we provide you.
We understand that your Common Account Statement (CAS) information is very sensitive, and protecting the privacy of this information is a top priority for us. Bizzi only fetches the investment related information from the CAS uploaded for portfolio simulation. The uploaded CAS statement will be deleted once you make any changes and/or save the portfolio.

‘Non-Personal Information’ is the usage information that is non –personal in nature and we may track, collect and aggregate such information indicating, among other things, which pages were visited, the order in which they were visited, the videos that were watched, when they were visited, how often the videos were watched, which hyperlinks and the order in which these links were “clicked, etc…”
Although such information is NOT PII, we may be able to determine from an IP address, a user’s Internet Service Provider and the geographic location of his or her point of connectivity.

The Chat Area
The Chat area allows users to interact online with a community of user/s, learner/s, content contributor/s and experts. Please remember that any information you disclose in the Chat area, including your user name, will become public information. We encourage you not to blindly believe any information posted to the Chat area.

The Chat area is offered for interactions only. We don’t claim any responsibility for the content or accuracy of any information posted to this area and for any trading, investment or other decisions made on the basis of this information.

What you consent to by providing the Personally Identifiable Information?
Please understand that by submitting any Personally Identifiable Information to us, you consent and agree that we may collect, use, disclose and retain such Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, and as permitted or required by law. If you do not agree with these terms, then please do not provide any Personally Identifiable Information to us. If you refuse or withdraw your consent, or if you choose not to provide us with any required Personally Identifiable Information, we may not be able to provide you with our services for which such information was sought.

When do we collect information?
We collect information such as e-mail address, mobile number, password, date of birth, etc when you register, by filling out a form. You may also have the option of providing additional information, including but not limited to a photo, headline, or other information you may choose to enter (“Profile Information”) to customise your profile (“Profile”). Your Profile and Profile Information may be publicly viewable to others.

At any subsequent stage or while taking an online course, you may be asked to update your personal profile and information, or provide additional PII for verification before issuance of course completion certificate or changes to the registered mobile number. At times, users are and will be also requested to fill in feedback or survey questionnaires to help us improve our services and offerings to provide our customers an overall positive experience.

How do we use your information?
We may use the information that we collect from you when you register, sign up, undertake online courses, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use the application features, in the following ways:

  • To personalize your experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested.
  • To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature.
  • To determine public ratings and collate reviews of services or products
  • To identify users during use of certain features like the events & chats feature
  • To respond to any communication addressed to us by users like requests, queries or complaints and other customer care related activities and/ facilitate or send communication in the form of updates or notifications regarding your use / performance
  • To track comparative and overall user performance by collecting and tracking information about user progress and performance or accomplishments related to the course/s undertaken
  • To improve quality, appropriateness, and usefulness of our services by performing statistical analysis of the collective characteristics and behaviour of our users, and by measuring demographics and interests in specific areas by using the non-personal information in aggregate form
  • To verify user identity for certificate issuance, or to monitor user performance during a course or to confirm that users are abiding by the applicable testing rules or requirements
  • To update educational partners and / or employers, during or after such course completion, with information like scores, achievements or progress in the course for better future planning. To establish or exercise our legal rights or to protect our property; to respond to or defend against legal notices or claims; or as otherwise required by law.
  • To protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of BIZZI, the Website, our users, customers, or others; and in connection with our Terms of Service and other agreements.
  • To use personally identifiable information only to the extent necessary, when we believe it is appropriate to investigate, prevent, or take action in case of illegal or suspected illegal activities; and/ or what is required under the various regulations of Indian Laws.

How do we protect your information?
We consider the confidentiality and security of your information to be of the utmost importance and implement a variety of security measures when a user enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to keep your Personally Identifiable Information private and will not share it with third parties, except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, or unless we have good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary in special cases, such as a physical threat to any users or entities.

Bizzi takes precautions to protect its user/s PII. We use industry-standard on-line security measures, such as encryption and authentication and have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online to protect your information. These include but are not limited to use of strictly high level encryption such as TLS 1.3 and TLS 1.2 with best cypher suits only between browser and sever and also best practices for database management and protection.

Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of Personally Identifiable Information, and there is some risk that an unauthorized third party may find a way to circumvent our security systems or that transmission of your information over the Internet will be intercepted.

Also note that we may retain and store your information in our databases and systems even after your BIZZI account is deactivated.

Third-party disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that the confidentiality of user information is maintained by imposing strict confidentiality standards on all the third parties with whom we part information.
We may also release information when its release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property or safety.  

However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and application and welcome any feedback.

Protecting Children’s Privacy
Bizzi strongly believes in protecting the privacy of children. In line with this belief, we do not knowingly collect or maintain Personally Identifiable Information from persons under 15 years of age, and no part of our services is directed to persons under 15 years of age. If you are under 15 years of age, then please do not use or access this service at any time or in any manner. We will take appropriate steps to delete any Personally Identifiable Information of persons less than 15 years of age that has been collected on our Website without verified parental consent upon learning of the existence of such Personally Identifiable Information.

Changes to this Policy
We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Policy with a new effective date. If we make a material change to this Policy, we will take reasonable steps to notify you in advance of the planned change.

Your Consent
We believe that, every user of our application/ Services must be in a position to provide an informed consent prior to providing any Information required for the use of the application/ Services. By registering with us, you are expressly consenting to our collection, processing, storing, disclosing and handling of your information as set forth in this Policy now and as amended by us. Processing, your information in any way, that includes, but is not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining, sharing, transferring and disclosing information, all of which activities – will take place accordance with the applicable data protection laws of India.

How to Control or Change Your Profile Information
You can edit any of the personal information you’ve provided by visiting the Profile section of your User Account. As this information is protected, you will be required to enter One time password (OTP) sent on your registered mobile number to make changes.
